I’m on the train to work in a compartment with a bloke – a classic working-class hero – who’s battling sleepiness the whole way. With his elbow propped on the table, he’s trying to doze off, but the bright sunlight wakes him up. Every now and then he mutters a swear word at whoever or whatever happens to be on his mind at that moment.
“They’re a bunch of idiots.”
After about an hour, his phone rings. Annoyed, he pulls it out of his pocket: “Hello?” “I’m an AI assistant…” “Fuck off!”
He hung up and carried on dozing.
P.S. With My Receptionist, this wouldn’t happen to you. She just answers the calls.
